MARY MEIER DAKIN
IIDA, WBENC
Mary Dakin has over 25 years of experience in Architectural Interior Design, Project and Move Management, and long-range building and employee planning services with clients and corporations throughout North America. Her experience encompasses a host of clients from financial institutions, developers, health care facilities, the hospitality industry, governmental and city offices, training and educational facilities, legal firms and home owners.
She has additional experience as a Marketing and Design Director where she was responsible for obtaining new clients, branding and creating marketing services across North America. She also has Project Management experience where she was responsible for design, planning, approvals and Project Management oversight for several major financial institutions facilities throughout Michigan.
Mary has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She is a professional member of IIDA and WBENC, a Board Member of the Michigan Design Principles roundtable, and is active in charity fundraising with Cristo Rey High School in Detroit, Christ Child Society, and Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Completed the workplace and interior fit out for Toyota’s Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Saline Michigan, as well as, Erlanger and Georgetown Kentucky. All in coordination with branding the New North America Headquarters for Toyota in Plano, Texas. (75M sq. ft.)

Complete Programming, Space Planning and Interior Design, including finish and furniture selections for new Headquarters in Southfield completed 2013. Also includes branding, interior design and planning for new branch prototypes and planning and renovation of floors in the Flint buildings. (80,000 sq. ft).

Current Primary Client since 1987
Planning, Design, Specification and Project Management of all Corporate Buildings in Michigan and renovations of over Forty Retail Branches per year. Redesign of existing branches to tie in with new branding and standards development. Responsible for restacking all larger, Tier One buildings in Michigan and acted as PM and Designer for all renovations. (1,400,000 sq. ft.)

Complete Architecture and Design Renovations to Major Buildings, Call centers, Branches and Loan Centers throughout Michigan. 2016 renovation of Troy Executive Floor. (680,000 sq. ft.)
CITY OF AUBURN HILLS, MI
A - Complete historical renovation of a Pre-Civil War log cabin for utilization as a study center.
B - Complete renovation and reconstruction of a multi-level Learning Center for use as a study/Meeting Center utilized by five universities.
C - Arrowhead Golf Club and Pro Shop - Created staged Interior Design renovation to meet clients creative and budgetary needs.
